These guys are all very friendly and do really nice work. I'm super pleased with the project they completed for me. Took a long time to get started, but we were waiting for a custom sized window. I called them earlier this year about a project to.my house that I wanted done, and after they came out and looked at everything, I never got a quote for the job. I even called the owner asking about it, and he said that he would talk to the guy that came out to my house, and I still couldn't get a quote. I've given up and I'll find a more reliable contractor. Edit to their response and to emails that I received: This company did indeed reach back out to me and asked me how they can "regain my trust". I responded that I've changed my mind on what I'd like done, and I'd like a 3 season porch addition put on the back of my house instead, and I sent them a picture of where I was talking about. One of their estimators replied back via email, and said that my addition would have a starting cost of 75k-100k, without even coming out to take measurements (I've got a 780sq ft cabin, and the addition would be put on the narrow end on the back). The overhang on my roof is well over 12" so they don't need to tie into my roof, and I also don't need any electricity run because I've already got ample power installed on the exterior or my house. The outlets might need to be raised a bit, but that's it. Because of the extreme estimate without any measurements being taken, I didn't even discuss the details of my house with them. I'm not going to argue with a contractor that doesn't even pay me a visit before giving me such a huge estimate. I don't know what's going on with this company, but I don't really care. I couldn't get an estimate after they visited me to see what I wanted done, and then I got a crazy high estimate when I changed my mind without them coming to see what already exists or taking any measurements. They've made it very clear to me that they don't want my business, and I refuse to beg a contractor to do a good job when the price tag is going to cost me a pretty penny to begin with.

This group is working on my neighbor's house and they're doing a wonderful job. One of their workers had to swerve to miss an oncoming car that was in his Lane and he did some minor damage to my mailbox. He was very straightforward and honest about it and was willing to replace the mailbox in the post. No problem. He stopped by my house this morning. Nice young gentleman named Matthew. I told him don't worry about it. Weird. Things happen sometimes. I'm just thrilled he didn't wreck his truck.  Judging by this gentleman's actions and honesty, I would be thrilled to have these folks working for me in any capacity.  Employees attitudes say a lot about the people they work for. JD Powell and Company installed two egress windows for us .They were easy to work with and listened well. It was impressive to see JD  assisting the crew , not only demonstrating his skills but his work ethic . Alex , Hayden , and the gentlemanly young crew were hard workers and efficient , very  kind and professional. JD Powell  delivered for us a great ,on time, and in budget project . JD Powell Construction did a fantastic job on some of our home renovations (walk-in bath and changing area, built in closet system, laundry room, kitchen island, exercise room, and stair railings). We had a concrete pad poured for our pergola to be built on. The team was great and they got the job done fast. Our only complaint is that the slope of the pad is quite drastic (5 inches).
